Hudi is a hoopoe (in Uzbek, hudhud), the bird of messages and knowledge in Eastern stories, and your study friend in Mockfy. It cheers your right answers, keeps you company on your streak and never scolds.
Hudi's moods
Hudi does not talk. Like a real hoopoe it calls "hoop-hoop": faster and higher when happy, slower and lower when sad.
| Mood | What Hudi does | When you see it |
|---|---|---|
| Calm | Breathes, blinks and moves its crest | When the app opens, and on empty pages |
| Happy | Hops with sparkles and raises its crest, calling "hoop-hoop-hoop" | When you get an answer right in Daily English |
| Celebrating | Flaps its wings under confetti with its fastest call | When you get 3 stars, a new streak record or a high band |
| Thinking | Tilts its head while a question bubble appears | Before you start your day, and with hints |
| Sad | Folds its crest, sheds a small tear and calls slowly and low. It is never angry | When you get an answer wrong, or finish a stage with no stars |
| Sleeping | Closes its eyes while little z's float up | When your streak has gone out |
You can hear each call in Instructions → Hudi.
